Darius Rucker Eugene reviews
Music Great Drunks Not Great
The show was great, the venue and how everything was handled was good as well. What marred the event were the two groups of drunk a-holes who started fighting near us. We paid $300 for my son and I to have a great Father-Son time and I found myself having to get up in the middle of the concert to place myself between the fighting idiots and my son to protect him. TWICE!
I’m not rich and if I spend that much money to take my boy to a concert, I expect the venue to take preventative measures which would preclude such stupidity. What if the fight spilled over and my boy got hurt. I guarantee you that you would have been looking at a lawsuit.
This experience has me reconsidering our family patronage with Bethel Woods.
This was supposed to be a family friendly event.
Darius Rucker and his opening band were excellent, but I highly doubt we will be seeing him or any other artist at Bethel Woods again.
